Announcement regarding Vanguard

Small announcement regarding LS status with the coming changes to the game.

With 14.8 update Vanguard has been deployed in PH (Philippines) region only. We are still working on it and preparing for Vanguard, but at this moment LS does not support it. So LS cannot be used in PH region.

It seems that Vanguard will be released with next 14.9 update in all regions and we are preparing for it. Some of you may already seen some of the clips and streams of our Val product, so this can demonstrate that we made some progress in VG direction and will continue to do so.

However, with 14.9 there may be some extra downtime, more than usual. We'll let you know when we will have more information to share.

 

 

Announcement regarding DX9 deprecation

Starting with 14.9 (next update) LoL will no longer support DX9. As many of you may know DX9 is required for LS. We plan to finish our DX11 implementation and support it during 14.8, so we will be ready for 14.9 DX11-only version of the game.

 

 

14.8.1 Update

This is our update for 14.8 game version. This update includes improvements to Orbwalker and new FH Rell script.

Rell (New)

Initial release, highlighting the following key features and fixes since FH Beta:

  • New: Q/W/R Interrupt logic and options.
  • New: Mid-air W->R / R->W double CC logic.
  • New: E-Attack animation cancel.
  • New: R AOE and auto cast logics on priority targets.
  • New: Logic to interrupt channelling skills with Q, W, and R.
  • New: Perma Show clearly showing wall jump option is usable by using the flee key.
  • New: Option to wait for attack before casting W1 or W2.
  • Fixed: Error when trying to R during team fights.
  • Fixed: Removed logic to automatically use R to intercept enemy dashes.
  • Fixed: Ult with Ally Ult option does not trigger when ally casts ult.
  • Improved: Menu default option settings.

Anivia

  • Improved: Q1 now properly takes into account of Q extra range from width in target selection.

Diana

  • Added: logic to prioritize minions with Q on Lane Clear that will hit an enemy too.
  • Adjusted: R trigger logic to not over cast it. Fixed Block R hotkey not being applied sometimes.

Fiora

  • Improved: W blocklist now states the reasons for all spells that cannot be reliably blocked.
  • Improved: W blocklist now use spell names for targeted spells clarity.

Hwei

  • Added: Menu option to set semi-manual hotkeys to cast to cursor or target.
  • Changed: Q/W/E hotkeys will always cast to target when "target" mode is selected, instead of waiting for target to come in range then casting to cursor.
  • Fixed: Semi-manual hotkeys sometimes not casting for spells that start with W or E.

Malzahar

  • Fixed: R sometimes cancelling when trying to KS enemy with other spells.
  • Improved: Now automatically blocks all user actions immediately following any R casts.

Poppy

  • Added: Logic and option to wait for Q to explode before pushing away and stunning enemy with E.
  • Improved: E now always cast first with higher priority when poppy can choose between Q or E on enemy.
  • Updated: Translations.

Syndra

  • Fixed: W2 sometimes casting on invalid enemy targets.
  • Improved: W2 now tries to cast more often on minions in lane during Lane Clear instead of on enemy.
  • Removed: Logic to cast W2 to cursor / somewhere near enemy if cannot directly hit before sphere expires, to prevent user confusion.

Yuumi

  • Updated: All item build paths and builds for patch 14.7.

Zyra

  • Fixed: E Casting on invulnerable gap-closers (eg. Fizz E).
